The role

Dual reporting to the Head of Sales and Customer Team Manager, you will be the crucial link between our customers and internal teams. Your role will involve strategic planning, relationship building, and ensuring seamless communication. You'll be responsible for understanding market trends and enhancing our product offerings to meet customer needs.

  • Act as the bridge between customers and our teams, ensuring alignment, timely invoicing, and continuous process improvement.
  • Build and maintain strategic account plans, fostering lasting customer relationships.
  • Support business development by understanding market needs and enhancing our customs products.
  • Use your customs knowledge to meet customer needs, closing deals through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Continuously develop new customer opportunities, enhance your portfolio, and drive organic growth and contract renewals.
  • Innovate and develop new solutions, aiming to exceed customer expectations.
  • Manage customer expectations, resolve issues, and negotiate contracts.
  • Arrange customer visits and support during customs audits.
  • Provide regular performance data and support marketing with market intelligence.
  • Ensure profitability and compliance, supporting all commercial activities and campaigns.

What do you bring?

  • HBO degree level of education.
  • Strong customs knowledge with a solid operational background.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Key Accountmanagement.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to assess commercial risks and make effective decisions.
  • Proficiency in creating professional and competitive solutions.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills in Dutch and English, German is a plus.
  • Innovative mindset and ability to generate customer-focused solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of procurement techniques and the ability to negotiate win-win deals.
